Welcome...

Hello. Welcome to my practice.

What is the thing that you want most? For many people, the answer is happiness. Without it, nothing else is worth much. The good news is you can actually make breakthroughs here. This is a area I specialize in during psychotherapy. I don’t just want to help you get back to you previous level of contentment. Instead our goal is to get you to a new level of happiness where you can experience deeper joy.

I provide individual therapy for adults with a wide variety of concerns, particularly specializing in anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and low self-esteem, among others. My therapy style is strengths-based, collaborative, and flexible, integrating multiple approaches to therapy (including mindfulness and acceptance, humanistic, and relational therapies). Additionally, I aim to use a feminist and multicultural lens in all of the work that I do. I am excited to get to know you as an individual and figure out what approach to therapy will best fit your unique needs.

As a counselor, I prioritize kindness, compassion, and honesty. I believe in the potential for individuals to achieve the life they desire with the guidance and belief of a supportive counselor. I am eager to offer my services and excited about fostering a therapeutic alliance that will facilitate positive change in your life.

Open communication of counseling strategies and their effectiveness is crucial. This dialogue will enable us to determine the most appropriate direction to pursue. Taking the initiative to seek a more fulfilling and joyful life requires courage, and I am here to support and empower you throughout this journey.

I’ve always made counseling is a highly collaborative endeavor between myself and my client, which can be couples, families, and adults. I help my clients to identify specific goals and then move towards potential solutions to problems.

Counseling to improve relationships

Deciding that you, a family member, or your relationship needs the help of a professional counselor is the first step.

Finding the right counselor or psychotherapist usually takes some research. In finding a counselor, start by clarifying what your goals of counseling are. That way you can ask prospective counselors if they have expertise in the areas you are trying to address.

Counseling is more than a career for me — it is a passion. There is no better experience than helping an individual or a couple to become happier and more content. If you have more questions about how counseling works, please feel free to call my office.
